While USA Inc is not likely to suffer at all from a total ban on imports of Toshiba Corp products, it is a different matter when it comes to individual US companies, and Apple Computer is howling with anguish over the possibility that it might be cut off from supplies of the laser printers that it gets from Toshiba affiliate Tokyo Electric Co: Apple says that the cost of finding a new supplier for the printers would be devastating.
