One of the most striking aspects of the electronic games industry is how dull and unadventurous it is, but one genius who really stands out from the crowd is Atari founder Nolan Bushnell: his current company, Axlon Inc, Sunnyvale, California has received approval from the US Federal Communications Commission for broadcasting of television programmes that generate high frequency signals capable of activating and controlling a robot toy, and Axlon is hard at work with cartoon film maker DIC Enterprises, Encino, California to put together programming, and robots that will dance to its tune; the robots, due this autumn, will cost about $250.
