Pyramid Technology Inc, Mountain View, California has begun a campaign to increase the number of OEM customers and value-added resellers marketing its machines. In the US the company is well underway in its goal of attracting around 50 new vendors. In the UK about two or three are on the boil. Half a dozen key vendors are being sought out in the UK, as well as about 15 specialist value added resellers. Pyramid says that it will be recruiting only companies that can add value to the products in some way. One of the existing UK third parties, ABS Computers – which boasts around 10 Pyramid sales so far – adds value by providing an upgrade path from its Zilog WE32000 systems to Pyramid.
