Windstream has launched Dynamic Office-SIP, a new business communications offering that combines voice, data and high-speed internet services over a single connection.
The company said that the new Dynamic Office – Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) product provides customers direct access to the company’s private IP network for data and voice communications. It helps businesses to exchange voice traffic over an internet connection rather than physical line or PRI.
According to Windstream, the new offering can enhance workforce productivity and mobility by providing connectivity for remote personnel. Employees can be reachable by a single number that rings simultaneously at multiple locations, allowing customers, vendors and co-workers to get the answers immediately.
In addition, the product offers high-speed internet for equally fast upload and download capability, and call routing and messaging. It is backed by the company’s fully-redundant IP network, the company said.
Don Perkins, vice president of business marketing at Windstream, said: “Windstream continues to develop advanced voice and data solutions designed to help our customers do business more efficiently. Dynamic Office-SIP allows businesses to benefit from the lower costs and advanced services available with VoIP technology.”
