BICC OPENS FACTORY IN WHISTON, LIVERPOOL

BICC Plc has opened a UKP15m fibre optic cable factory in Whiston, Liverpool which will expand its manufacturing capacity many times: it will use optical fibre from a plant on Deeside owned jointly by BICC and Corning Glass Works and initially will employ 140 staff.
