My-Channels, a provider of unified enterprise, web and mobile middleware Nirvana, has announced full support for Google’s Android platform in its release of Nirvana Enterprise Server.

Nirvana for Android further extends its features, which ensure secure, low-latency and high-performance exchange of data between web, mobile and enterprise clients, the company claims.

According to My-Channels, the new features allow Android devices to publish and subscribe to events in real-time, utilise message queues and communicate with peer to peer services.

Paul Brant, CEO of my-Channels, said: Android support is a natural development in our strategy to enable enterprises to easily and reliably deliver real-time data to a range of mobile devices, as well as to web and enterprise clients. This enhancement further extends Nirvana’s mobile reach to Android, iPhone, BlackBerry and J2ME devices.
