CCA Business Centre Ltd, CCA Computer Group PLC, CCA Micro Rentals Ltd and Cambridge Computer Store Ltd all went into receivership on Friday, and the businesses are being offered as a going concern through the administrative receiver Cork Gully of London though there are no financial details yet. The business assets and goodwill of the companies which are involved in the rental and sale of microcomputers are being sold. The companies trade in the South West, London and Cambridge from leasehold premises. CCA Micro Rentals sells new and used IBM, Apple Computer and Compaq Computer products. It supports and maintains them and trains customers and sells supporting software. The company also rents personal computers, complete networks. In 1988 had the highest percentage increase in turnover of any Apple resellers, making the crash of the business embarrassing for Apple UK. CCA Computer Group is the holding company for Micro Rentals.
