Fujitsu has established Fujitsu South China, a subsidiary of Fujitsu Hong Kong with an initial investment of $1.5m, which will serve customers based in the South China region covering Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian and Hainan provinces, and China’s banking and financial sectors.
The new company will offer information and communication technology (ICT) products and services to target customers in the region. According to the company, Fujitsu South China is expected to strengthen Fujitsu’s business focus and resources to create value for customers in China, which is an integral part of Fujitsu’s global strategy to expand international business outside Japan.
In addition, Fujitsu South China will also meet the requirements of banking and financial customer, riding on the integration of Hong Kong and South China region as the hub and gateway of corporations going into and out of China.
