The British Broadcasting Corporation has chosen Gandalf Digital Communications Ltd to build for it a corporate voice and data network covering 18 sites across the UK: the network, which conforms to Oftel’s Network Code of Practice, is based on the 2.048Mbps DX exchange and Gandalf reckons savings for the BBC will be around 30% of present telecommunications spending when the network is up and running.
