AT&T Co says that Ing C Olivetti will continue to be one of its suppliers of personal computers, but Olivetti chairman Carlo de Benedetti is resigned to losing the business altogether: he also acknowledges that Olivetti has lost out to competitors like Compaq Computer Corp by not bringing out new models in a timely fashion, a near fatal weakness in an industry that is in a state of permanent revolution.
