IBT claimed that the integrated image teller product eliminates paper by producing virtual tickets replacing all internal documents and the cumbersome management of this inventory. Furthermore, item processing personnel needs are reduced due to the virtual elimination of encoding read failures thereby significantly reducing day 2 processing.
Brad Rose, vice president of information technology at State Bank of La Junta, said: “We began working with IBT when our core vendor sold its business units to the company, but we have purchased additional products because of the superiority of its system over other vendors. We installed Integrated Image Teller because we wanted to move from branch capture and integrate the teller and imaging systems.
“The installation went very smoothly, this was much better than what we’ve experienced with other vendors in the past and our employees really like the system. Integrated Image Teller eliminates a step in the process, so we don’t have to transfer items from the teller station to the bookkeeper’s office. Consolidating several vendors into one platform is also very convenient.”
Mike Golebiowski, president of IBT, said: “Branch capture solutions are being adopted by increasing numbers of banks, but item image capture at point of presentment offers a superior level of customer service and adds a personal touch at the teller line. Through the adoption of Integrated Image Teller, State Bank of La Junta has not only reduced costs and increased efficiency, but it has created a more engaging experience between its tellers and customers with every transaction.”
