Novonyx Inc, the private company formed by Novell Inc and Netscape Communications Corp last March (CI No 3,126), had said it would be introducing its first products around this time. Keeping true to its word, Novonyx announced that it has shipped NetWare versions of Netscape’s Enterprise Server, Messaging Server and FastTrack Server to customers for beta testing. Novonyx has also partnered with Oracle Corp to include a full development and deployment version of the Oracle database in its Enterprise Pro edition of the Enterprise Server for NetWare. The Orem, Utah-based company says it plans to ship the complete set of Netscape SuiteSpot intranet servers for the NetWare platform by the end of 1998. The Calendar, Collabra and Proxy servers are due by mid-year, with the Certificate and Compass servers due by year-end.
