Oil money is seeping into the computer industry. Saudi Arabian investor Prince Al Waleed bin Talal – a pauper by Bill Gates standards with a fortune of just $12bn – has bought a stake of about 5% in Netscape Communications Corp and a ‘chunk’ of shares in Motorola Inc, according to a report in Time magazine.
