Digiweb has released a new managed services portfolio for businesses throughout Ireland. The company has upgraded and expanded its data centre, network operation centre (NOC) and core fibre network.

Digiweb said that it will provide integrated management of customers’ entire IT operations. The new portfolio includes managed connectivity, security, voice, data and IT services. It will offer these services to all areas of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland from its NOC in Dublin.

The company added that it will provide monitoring and fixes from its NOC directly to systems in remote customer sites. It can also provide virtual services ‘through the cloud’ with a range of hardware and software hosted and managed in its Dublin data centre.

Alan Millett, CTO of Digiweb, said: “This is the next logical step in Digiweb’s evolution into a managed IT services provider. Providing internet connectivity and data networks was a natural place for us to start but businesses today are now seeking much more from their technology providers.”

The company said that the full list of new services includes managed routers, firewalls, on-site and virtual PBXs, backup, monitoring and anti-virus/spam services.
