American Industrial Systems(AIS) has introduced an Industrial Operator Panel PC line for industrial automation and PLC control. Currently the PC Control Systems, available in 8.4inches to 19inches dimensions, are touch screen enabled and feature Intel Atom processors and Windows 7 operating systems.
The company said that the embedded PCs feature a rugged steel housing and have the available options of a IP65 sealable Aluminum Bezel for water/dustproof protection. The PLC terminals are pre-designed and are available in several configurations. Several additional mechanical designs are also made available.
The company claims that its PCs are designed to be reliable, long lifetime support and availability, high performance, easily programmable and accessed supporting a non-proprietary-hardware based offering.
In addition, the HMI Panel PCs are provided with additional options such as sunlight readable transflective films, privacy films, wide voltage range boards, Power over Ethernet (PoE), wide temperature range modules, and shock/vibration enhancements. They also feature native remote communication using ethernet or the internet, and support IEC 61131 programing standard.
