Pandesic LLC, the internet commerce services company jointly owned by Intel Corp and SAP America Inc (CI No 3,219) has formed its first partnership since its inception in August, with Scottish customer support services and call center operation McQueen Inc. The result of the partnership will be an integrated real-time system capable of managing a company’s global electronic commerce system, say the two. The partnership will enable Pandesic to offer integrated customer services on an international basis, while McQueen customers that don’t have the an electronic commerce system in place will also benefit. Pandesic has turned to McQueen, a company established in 1845 and still based in Scotland, to address the problems companies are experiencing by conducting business on the internet. The firm, which has 1,200 employees working out of ten facilities in the US, Europe and the Asia Pacific, will target those companies looking to establish an immediate infrastructure for an electronic business systems, or divisions within large organizations that have systems in place for tiered distribution, but who want to sell directly over the internet.
