Apple Computer Inc’s Claris Corp software subsidiary, which wants to move beyond the Mac confines, is expected to unveil a Windows version of ClarisWorks at Comdex/Fall ’92 in Las Vegas, and a a Windows version of MacDraw Pro will be introduced by year-end, MacWeek reports. Like FileMaker Pro for Windows, which is due to ship this autumn, the Windows versions of MacDraw Pro and ClarisWorks will have user interfaces nearly identical to their Macintosh counterparts. In addition, both programs will provide users with file compatibility between the Windows and Mac environments; the two programs are expected to ship in March 1993.
