Electronic Data Systems Corp has established a new European group, the Technical Products Division, which will specialise in providing desktop systems and services. A similar division in the US has been ranked among the top 10 personal computer resellers, the company said. Technical Products will offer personal computer hardware, software, data communications, software applications, corporate licensing and systems integration services and will distribute products from a warehouse facility in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The General Motors Corp subsidiary says that the new Technical Products Division will preconfigure, test and deliver any customer requirement, and also arrange direct support services including help-desk, maintenance and training.
