Aiming for the smaller personal computer local area network workgroup market, Banyan Systems Inc, Westborough, Massachusetts has brought out a range of Banyan Vines packages for five-, 10 and 20-user configurations. Also, Banyan has dropped its entry-level Vines Team package for 10 users, and the new options will act as entry points into the Vines family. The three configurations are available as Vines Version 4.11, and Vines Version 4.10 for French, German and Spanish-speaking users. In mid-1992, Vines Version 5.0 for Macintosh support will be available, with new levels of Vines network. Vines 5 is UKP970; Vines 10, UKP1,870; Vines 20 UKP3,000.
