Santa Clara, California-based Software Publishing Corp is shipping InfoAlliance 1.10 for OS/2 -client-server software designed to enable personal computers on a network to access and manipulate data located in disparate databases: additional capabilities include access to Microsoft Corp SQL Server data, the ability to manipulate scanned images, support for OS/2 Dynamic Data Exchange and high-level language triggers to add features with C libraries; users can access data from a number of sources including SQL Server, OS/2 Extended Edition Database Manager, dBase III Plus and IV; a single InfoAlliance 1.10 stand-alone workstation product, for either OS/2 or Windows clients, is $500 while a workgroup installation with eight OS/2 or Windows clients and a single OS/2-based server is $6,500.
