Bodelwyddan-based Pilkington Communication Systems Ltd has won a UKP1.1m supply and installation order from Shell-Esso for a structured cabling system; the project will involve linking Ethernet local networks with fibre optic backbones, with high speed local networks and FDDI being gradually introduced.
