Chantal Systems Inc has formed a strategic alliance with Epson America Inc to create a redundant array of inexpensive disks subsystem for Epson’s 80486 EISA boxes for availability next month: Chantal will supply its Paragon software for mirroring, duplexing, striping, spanning and RAID 5 configurations optimising the fault tolerance and performance of the Epson machines.
