Acclaim Entertainment Inc told the conference that it has sold out of its hot-selling Mortal Combat video game for Sega Enterprises Ltd and Nintendo Co machines until the end of October, adding that the company would not receive substantial new inventories until then; the game sold more than any other video game ever produced on its first day of sales, in any one week, and in its first three weeks, the company said.
