Tomorrow’s RS/6000 announcement from IBM is expected to include agreements with Network Systems Corp on Hyperchannel for the Unix box so that it can make super-fast accesses to databases on IBM hosts for the likes of Boeing Co and General Motors Corp with their vast parts and engineering databases.
