It’s all a matter of how Microsoft Corp’s share price is doing at the time the list is drawn up, but when Forbes magazine drew up its list of America’s wealthiest magnates, Bill Gates came in at number two, with his stake in the company worth $4,800m that’s still $1,000m behind John Kluge of Metromedia Inc.
