Microsoft’s Bob Stutz has left his job as head of Dynamics and joined rival Salesforce.com, where he will be its chief analytics officer.

He will report to the CRM maker’s President of Products Alex Dayon, who said: "Bob not only has deep enterprise software experience, he’s also a proven leader who’ll drive the vision and execution for the Analytics Cloud as we build it into a billion-dollar business for Salesforce."

Stutz has experience in the CRM space, having served as a VP at Siebel Systems for seven years.

Salesforce.com, released its first analytics product in the form of Waves, back in October 2014 and followed this up with Wave Analytics apps in June 2015. Wave was taken up by firms such as Deloite Digital, Accenture and Informatica.
