Apple Computer Inc is unveiling its MacHandwriter, handwriting recognition software for the Macintosh, at the first MacWorld in Tokyo this week: developed by Communications Intelligence Corp, Menlo Park, California, the software handles both the Kanji characters and the Roman alphabet, needs to be trained to the user’s writing, and is said to reach 95% accuracy after an hour.
