Canon Inc has developed the HT 800R handy terminal, which has a wireless communication function and built-in antenna: it is used in conjunction with the BS800 base station, which has a wireless range of 350 feet; price of the terminal is $2,800, the base station being around $2,400; the system is designed for use in warehouse and factory systems.
