Computer publishing is not on the up and up Down Under, and the Australian subsidiary of International Data Group, publisher of Computerworld Australia, has bought Computing Australia – but only to close it, Newsbytes reports: Computing was created as a joint venture between Verenigte Nederlandse Uitgeversbedrijven NV, VNU, and Australian Consolidated Press Pty Ltd with Computer Publications Pty Ltd which bought out the other two partners ahead of the Computerworld deal.
