Soft-Switch Inc, based in Wayne, Pennsylvania has made several additions to its Enterprise Mail Network products, and the new connections encompass local area network-based and mainframe and minicomputer mail systems and public mail carriers. Electronic mail products now supported by Soft-Switch interconnections include Da Vinci Systems’ eMAIL, QuickMail by CE Software and InBox by Sitka Inc. The Soft-Switch Lotus Notes Gateway, which was previously announced, will be available now in the second quarter; new connections to mainframe and minicomputer electronic mail include ICL’s OfficePower, Computer Associates’ CA-eMAIL+, TOSS by NBS Systems Inc and EMC2/TAO by Fischer International. And X400 interoperability between Soft-Switch and IBM’s Mail Exchange product is now established.
