And the company has received orders totalling $104m from Embratel and Telesp, the state-owned telecommunications administrations in Brazil: the first is for delivery and installation of AXE equipment for the national long distance network and Telesp has ordered equipment for digital transmission and AXE exchanges to be installed in the Sao Paulo area; all equipment will be manufactured under licence in Brazil by Ericsson Telecomunicacoes SA.
