Honolulu, Hawaii-based Soft Warehouse Inc has followed its announcement of its Derive symbolic algebra and calculus expert system for the Hewlett-Packard Co 95LX Palmtop (CI No 1,663), now says its muLisp-90 is also now available for the machine: muLisp is claimed to be a particularly compact and fast implementation designed to make it feasible to fit the same powerful expert systems on MS-DOS based computers right from palmtops through to 80486-based desktops; the version for the 95LX is customised to exploit the unique screen and memory constraints of the computer and to conserve battery charge does the garbase collection in the dark? – and it costs $400; Derive for the Hewlett-Packard machine costs $290.
