Unified end-user computing offerings provider Centrix Software has released Centrix WorkSpace Universal that enables organisations to provide secure access to corporate applications and content from any location and any device.

The new service and application delivery platform for hybrid IT environments is built on a platform that aggregates applications from multiple delivery technologies, including Citrix, Microsoft, Quest and VMware, local PC and Cloud applications, WorkSpace.

Centrix WorkSpace Universal 5.2 integrates the Microsoft SharePoint content with application content and maintains the web portability of these resources whilst maintaining authenticated access to the organisations which are using Microsoft SharePoint as an intranet platform and also supports access to real-time social media content used within the intranet environment.

WorkSpace Universal authenticates and monitors the windows folder aggregation and access in an organisations and supports application and virtual desktop platforms from Microsoft, Citrix and VMware, WorkSpace.

In addition, the new service also integrates with 2X Application server from 2X Software.
