Novell Inc continues its assault on the low end of the local network market and not only has the company agreed deals with some of its distributors to bundle DR-DOS and adaptor boards with NetWare Lite, it has also announced a new 10-user version of NetWare v3.11; on top of that the company announced price reductions for its 20, 100 and 250 user versions – due, it says to the strengthening of sterling – actually it’s the weakening of the dollar but you don’t have to know much about economics to run a computer company: a 10-user licence costs UKP1,850 and new prices are UKP2,600, UKP5,200 and UKP9,250 respectively for 20-, 100 and 250-user versions.
