Cable & Wireless Plc is not commenting on a report from Moscow that it is to take a 33% stake in Sovam Teleport, a satellite communications service that was set up by San Francisco-Moscow Teleport Co and the Soviet Science & Research Institute of Applied Automated Systems (sounds better in Russian).
