Computer Horizons Corp, Mountain Lakes, New Jersey reached definitive agreement to acquire Wayne, New Jersey-based Worldwide Computer Services Inc in a move that will inter alia dilute the 10.8% in Computer Horizons held by unwelcome shareholder CGI Corp, US subsidiary of Compagnie Generale d’Informatique SA (CI No 1,333). Computer Horizons Corp will pay 330,000 shares all told, valuing Worldwide at $3.96m. Worldwide provides temporary and on-site computer, software and communi cations staff to big firms US-wide and is doing some $12m a year. Computer Horizons provides custom software development, systems integration, management consulting, and training and education through a net work of 25 offices. Computer Horizons did $2.3m net on turnover of $94.5m for 1991.
