In a bid to tempt more users to upgrade to the new System 7.0 package, Apple Computer UK Ltd of London is launching promotional offers through software companies and magazines and discounts on hardware upgrades: discount vouchers worth up to UKP1,500 on 26 software products will be on offer as will subscription enticements in several magazines; reductions on hardware upgrades include the price of the SE/30 upgrade falling from UKP956 to UKP600, the Ilci upgrade kit from UKP1,037 to UKP775 and the Ilfx upgrade board is now available for UKP1,290.
