Good Software Corp, Dallas reckons it has a new concept in scalable application software, unleashed with its Profit Point money management software for Windows 3: the idea is that Profit Point can actually become any of 10 money-management-related applications, invoking only the specific functions and presenting only the specific menus that a current application requires but its core operations are all, but for small ancillary utilities, manifestations of the same basic software, but its scalable architecture treats both functional elements and user interface elements as interrelated objects, selectively calling only those internal or external elements necessary to the task at hand, and can also call a completely different user interface; no prices were given.
