ANALYSTS PREDICT DCOM WILL OVERTAKE CORBA

Analyst group Ovum Ltd has warned users of Microsoft Corp’s DCOM Distributed Common Object Model object request broker is too immature for enterprise use. The group has, however, predicted that Corba will be overtaken by DCOM, and says none of the Corba- based object request brokers work together, making a mockery of the standard.
