Altera Corp claims that a California court has dismissed claims by Advanced Micro Devices Inc that it had infringed its patents and ruled they were covered by a cross-licensing agreement. Altera went straight on the offensive. Now we intend to vigorously pursue our claims of patent infringement against AMD, said Altera chairman Rodney Smith. AMD declined to comment.
