Coinciding with its new agreement with NCR Corp, software company SAS Institute Inc has launched version 2 of its IT Service Vision software for monitoring router and network traffic. IT Service Vision accesses data from computers, networks, phone systems and Web servers, manages the data before generating reports for users such as engineers, analysts, and business people. The product can now remotely access data warehouses enabling users to examine and manage information technology services from all angles. One of the main additions to the new release sees a Windows-like graphical user interface for personal computers and Unix workstations.
