If you’ve ever thought of yourself as a bit of a Mozart or a Beethoven, you’re in luck. A computer program has been developed at the University of California at Santa Cruz that enables users to create works in the style of famous composers. The Experiments in Musical Intelligence program has already seen the creation of Beethoven’s 42nd Symphony and has churned out some 5,000 compositions in the past three months.
