Fujitsu has introduced new capabilities for sending scanned paperwork to the Apple iPad and iPhone.

In addition to the new functionality, the new apps allow users to upload scanned documents to a wide range of cloud-based services using its ScanSnap S1500, S1500M, S1300 and S1100.

The ScanSnap Connect app for iPad and iPhone allows consumers to send and store their scans to their mobile device, and organisations have a flexible offering to assist with collaboration between colleagues and business partners.

With ScanSnap users can scan documents directly to Salesforce Chatter and SugarSync and also the ScanSnap provide users with more flexibility to store, share and access their paperwork with its scanner’s cloud services support for Evernote and Google Docs.

Services presently supported by ScanSnap S1500, S1500M, S1300 and S1100 include: scan to mobile; scan to Salesforce Chatter; scan to SugarSync; scan to Evernote; and scan to Google Docs.

The ScanSnap S1500, S1500M, S1300 and S1100 supports the new enhancements and current users can update their existing software using the built-in online update feature accessible from the ScanSnap icon help menu that resides in the task tray or dock.

ScanSnap Connect runs iOS 4.2.1 or later. With Scan to Mobile on a Mac or PC and ScanSnap Connect on iPhone or iPad, users can now send scanned content directly to their mobile device using your Wi-Fi connection.

Users can stay connected with their documents wherever you go with SugarSync and with Evernote anything user put there will be synchronized and accessible to user from any supported computer or mobile device making it even easier to find your scanned paperwork.

Salesforce Chatter combined with CardMinder business card software for Windows, enables users to efficiently collect and share digitized paperwork across an enterprise.

With ScanSnap, users can add scan-to-Google Docs capability to scan and upload all paper documents into Google Docs.
