Borland International Inc launched Quattro Pro 5.0 for Windows and for MS-DOS – the version that eliminates the features found to infringe Lotus Development Corp copyrights – at just $50 until January 15, with the target of selling 500,000 copies, Microsoft Corp says it does not expect the promotion to force it to cut its prices for Excel.
