Camarillo, California-based Alpharel Inc has won a subcontract from IBM Corp on an order to supply an imaging system to Arco Alaska Inc: the initial system is to be implemented over the next six months and is for the control and management of Arco’s engineering drawings and specifications relating to its North Slope facilities; Arco plans to use MS-DOS and Macintosh machines as client workstations using Alpharel’s view and markup product.
