Telifonica’s company O2 has introduced its new strategy for the business market to enable organisations to join up their people, assets, customers, IT systems and communications to solve business problems.

The stategy is designed to place O2 as the trusted advisor and the ICT company of choice for large and small businesses and this strategy is put into action by integrating a range of new and existing services, transforming its structure, its offering in the market and the way it presents itself to customers.

O2 and 2e2 has introduced ‘O2 Unify’, a joint-venture by which businesses of all sizes can have the opportunity to outsource IT and communications needs to a single provider through the Joined Up Business proposition.

O2 said the strategy will help businesses to manage their fixed and mobile network; join up their security on and off premises; transform networks to reduce cost and complexity and manage new demand from video to real time data, said the company.

In addition the strategy launches Joined Up People which enables businesses to implement flexible and collaborative working and embrace consumer technology securely. Each service supports, contributes and delivers O2’s Joined Up Business, said the company.

O2 Enterprise general manager David Plumb said O2 is evolving into a fully integrated operator. With a unique mix of mobile and fixed telecoms, tightly integrated with IT expertise which allows us to deliver Joined Up Business across an Enterprise.
