AT&T Co has hit another snag on its network, this time affecting 800 number toll-free calls in the eastern US on Friday night: the problem affected some 1.8m calls – including many repeated attempts, from 7:20pm on Friday for two hours; the company blamed a database software problem that affected the routing of 800 service calls.
