Computer Outsourcing Services Inc filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to go public with an initial offer of 1.0m shares of Common Stock. No target price was given by the New York company, which provides comprehensive on-line, real-time data processing services for internal data processing functions to 450 commercial customers principally in the New York metropolitan area, specialising in servicing the publishing, direct marketing and apparel importing and manufacturing industries, and providing payroll services. Net proceeds will be used for acquisitions of other facilities management businesses or assets to be identified, expansion of sales and marketing efforts, repayment of debt and working capital. The managing underwriters are Reich & Company Inc and J W Charles Securities, Inc/Corporate Securities Group Inc.
