San Francisco-based Centex Telemanagement Inc’s board unanimously recommended that shareholders reject the $9 per share takeover offer from MFS Communications Co Inc; despite being rebuffed, Omaha, Nebraska-based MFS says it is still interested in acquiring the company and warns darkly that it expects to be treated fairly as Centex considers options for maximising shareholder value; it wants all information given to other third parties.
