Sony Corp’s Trinicom 2000, a videoconferencing system specially designed for conferences with two to six people, has hit the Hong Kong market, reports the South China Morning Post. The system’s modules are mobile for daily business use and an infrared wireless remote control, incorporating a power button, trackball and mute button, controls the whole system via on-screen icons. The company claims only four cables are needed to connect the entire system. A 7KHz Echo Cancellor helps keep audio clear and Sony makes the bold promise that the Trinicom 2000’s Lip Sync function effectively combats the problem of audio time delay.
